I first found Forward Motion (FM) via a link in Zette's sig on the nano boards, and joined at the end of 2006. The more time I've spent there the more of the site I've discovered. At first I was browsing through the daily exercises, and now I join in a lot of the marathons and the writing goals. Zette puts in a lot of work to make the site as wonderful as it is, and it's a great place for writers. The community there has a nice feel, people are always willing to help each other out and cheer each other on (and up). Without Zette the site wouldn't be there for us all to interact with each other.

With people being more likely to say something when they are pissed off rather than when they are happy with something, I'm glad that Zette appreciation day was put together. This is a wonderful opportunity to give Zette some thanks for all the hard work she does and all the crap she puts up with from people who can't be happy with something that many of us are.

Thank you Zette for all your hard work and dedication. There are those of us who appreciate it. Being a member of Forward Motion has helped me stay focused with my writing, enough to finish two novel first drafts and start in on the editing.
